Was there anything that really blew you away? There was a handful of things that caught my eye for sure.

I’m thrilled that Golden Sun: Dark Dawn has an official trailer now. I know it was announced last year, but we had nothing, but the name of Golden Sun DS to go on. With a trailer and official name, it’s pretty much official for this year finally. If you haven’t tried the Golden Sun games for Gameboy Advance, go do so now.

I’m liking the looks of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. It looks great with amazing effects, but I know everyone is wondering just what it has to do with Castlevania if there’s no mention of Dracula. I’m pretty sure he’s in there. It’s just the big mind-blowing secret. I’ve heard that it takes place on the Alternate Time Line of Castlevania Events. As soon as I find a decent example of the time line, I’ll post it.

I did not get to see much of the new Silent Hill 8 that was announced. I think I was at work, but I love the Silent Hill series except for The Room and Shattered Memories so I have to at least check it out. I heard that it involves a prison inmate that escapes, but gets lost in Silent Hill. That sounds like a good basis for Silent Hill since past demons do come back to haunt you. I can definitely be on board with that.

Call of Duty: Black Ops… From what I saw of the gameplay footage, it looks sexy. I’m definitely okay with that. Besides, you get a crossbow. You know you want to test drive that.

And Halo: Reach. What can I say that hasn’t already been said about it? I’m not a Halo fan, but I don’t hate it. I’m just indifferent to it and enjoy watching the boyfriend and his friends play it. I can say I am thrilled about the assassinations. They’re just sexy and much needed. You can hit anyone in the back of the head, and that’s great and all, but why that when you can now have a Spartan hopping on the back of an Elite and knifing him in the neck? That’s just badass right there. Don’t get me started on the looks of the Elites now… They didn’t come for a nice reunion and BBQ in the yard. Their looks are more eerie and alien now with the dislocating Aliens jaw. Pretty epic close up.

And that’s my thoughts on E3 2010 and what caught my eye. So what caught yours?
