We’re going to take a look at a couple variations of a pizza you can make at home with tortillas.

Base cheese pizza:
1 Tortilla
Pizza sauce
Shredded cheese
Everything else (optional)

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Lay the tortilla out flat and start with spreading the sauce. You want to leave some space at the edge for grabbing on to when it’s done. Next, add your cheese. If you want a cheesy crust, add some cheese to the edges. Once you have that done, throw it in the oven for about 10 minutes. Keep an eye on it as it may crisp up before the time is up.

That’s just your basic pizza. Now you can throw pepperoni on it, double layer it with cheese, or throw ham and pineapple on it. Use your imagination to make it your own without having to make and roll out pizza dough.

My personal favorite: BBQ Chicken Pizza
1 Tortilla
Can of chicken
BBQ sauce
Shredded cheese

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Your sauce base for this one is your favorite bbq sauce. I’ve currently fallen for the Jack Daniel’s Original No. 7 BBQ sauce, I highly recommend it. Drain your can of chicken and shred it so more will cover the pizza. Add your sauce and coat every shred. Spread it on the pizza and sprinkle the cheese on top. Put it in the oven for about 10 minutes. Once again, keep an eye on it as the edges may crisp up before the time is up. Slice and enjoy!

Once again, cheap college meal.
Pack of tortillas – Few dollars.
Shredded cheese – Couple dollars give or take.
Pizza sauce – $1.00 Generic brand.
Whatever topics you desire – Couple dollars apiece likely.

Repeat meal that can change every time you make it for around $10. That’s a good weekend meal with some football going on.
